This place is AMAZING! The nice lady working here was really sweet and helpful! The Jalapeño Poppers and homemade ranch were perfect, the Mozzarella Cheese Sticks were incredible, and all three burgers that my group had were top-notch!

We are on a cross country RV trip and sticking to the highways and byways. We left Nashville this morning heading to The Smokey Mountain National Park. We were on Hwy 70 East and hit Sparta just after noon. It looked interesting, so we stopped in for lunch.
The menu featured a lot of American favorites, even spaghetti and lasagne... All "homemade". Two ordered up the pork stew and two had hamburgers with a side of fries. The stew was excellent. A good sized serving seasoned just right. The hamburger was as good as any I ever served up at home, and I was happy to find they hand cut their fries and left the skins on....all dark and crispy just like our home cut fries. Awesome.
Our server, and I am sorry not to have gotten her name, realized we were all Arizonans keen on trying local dishes. She recommended trying the Tennessee Mud Pie. A soft, carmel dish about 4 inches square. Wow. It had a deep, rich, old world carmel flavor that was absolutely delicious.
Props to the cooks. It was all very tasty and indeed all dishes looked and tasted homemade. Thanks for a great lunch and a very enjoyable visit. BTW: The bill for each couple was about $15 not including the tip. Great value for a great meal. -

Excellent restaurant. The owner is a former chef in Nashville. The variation and cooking methods are very different than what you normally find in this area. All their food is excellent and the desserts divine! All fresh and fabulous.

We Love this place. Quaint with a bit of an eccentric specials that changes frequently, this is in addition to their regular menu.
Our favs are the fried green beans with homemade ranch dressing, fried ravioli, calamari, and always on the menu is their Texas Toothpicks. Their Clam Chowder, and Shrimp Creole are fantastic soup choices. You can never go wrong with their fresh patted burgers, spaghetti, and grilled pork chops. The desserts are awesome, but my favorite is the Maple Walnut pie. Also check out their eclectic tea selection. Best of all, it is really good food at an even better price. -
